Lets get to know him:

Introduction

( Please introduce yourself and Weiskind Walter & Asscociates )

Nicholas A. Delguyd, CPA.  I have been in public accounting working with small businesses for over 20 years, working either as an outside CPA, or CO.

 Question 1

Please tell us  what inspired you to bring WWA to reality?

We saw a need to provide high end tax, accounting, and business consulting to owner operated businesses.   My business partner and I started our careers at much larger firms, and as those firms grew, we saw that the smaller clients did not get the attention they needed and deserved.  We decided to start our own firm in 2014.

Question 2

For those who don’t know you. Please explain how WWA improves the lives of those it serves ?

We work with our businesses owners and their in house book keepers to help them get a better understanding of their profits, margins, taxes, cash flow, and overall business value.  Ultimately, we want to take the financial worries off of our clients’ plates, so that they can focus running and growing their business.

Question 3

What has been your challenge so far ?

Our biggest hurdle is finding qualified staff.

Question 4

Follow up : What prevented you from giving up ?

Our clients need help, and we will provide it.  We are willing to train new staff members so that they can provide the best service.  This is an investment that we are willing to make in our staff because it will pay dividends for both our clients and our firm.

Question 5

What do you say to those who tell you it can’t be done ?

The only reason that something can’t be done, is that someone is unwilling to roll up their sleeves and get answers.  Ultimately, we find where the issues are in the various financial processes and make the necessary improvements.  This can be in personnel, software, policies, etc..

Question 6

The needs are so great in Society right now. How can WWA help out ?

Above and beyond the normal tax compliance, we help with making sure that our clients have a clear path towards the future.  This might include bank financing, assistance with government lending, or bringing in someone from our network to help improve things like insurance, and banking relationships.

Question 7

Helping and serving others brings tremendous personal satisfaction- Please describe what that means for you ?

At the end of the day, we try to help our clients reach whatever goals they want to set.  That might also include helping them set those goals.  Our biggest satisfaction is when a client shakes our hand and says “thank you for helping me make my dreams come true”

Question 8

Where do you get the strength to persevere through the challenges?

If we don’t do our jobs, it’s not just a client’s business that is at risk.  It is the client’s family, the client’s employees and their families.  We take this responsibility very seriously.

Question 9

Who inspires you ?

I am inspired by my clients and their perseverance.  There are plenty of companies that are teetering right now, and we are here to provide them with the proper guidance. We are also inspired by our staff and now they go the extra mile to help provide the best service.

Question 10

What is the best way to support WWA?

Refer us to a client that wants and needs help.
